I have been a supporter of the Center for many years. Being an avid outdoor individual (camping, hiking, birding), the Center is my voice, not only for the wildlife and wild places I hold dear, but for the diversity that makes us all unique. Today our world and those that inhabit it are at risk of annihilation by those who care so little, if nothing at all, for the treasures we have and that are risk of being lost forever. The Center strives to address the issues our natural world is facing and gives voice to and fights for those who are most vulnerable. The Center will always have my support.

Volunteering with Endangered Species International was a truly transformative experience that allowed me to contribute directly to the protection of our planet's most vulnerable wildlife. I spent my time working alongside passionate experts on field project, where I helped monitor critical habitats and implement conservation strategies for endangered species. The most rewarding aspect was seeing how our team's efforts in community training and habitat restoration directly supported local ecosystems and the survival of rare animals. This journey not only deepened my commitment to environmental stewardship but also gave me the incredible opportunity to be part of a global movement fighting to solve the species extinction crisis. There is no place like this anywhere! I've been following Craig since the beginning, and still revel at what he's accomplished for all these beautiful creatures. Craig is unstoppable in his efforts to give these once majestic creatures a safe place, with so much space, to become their beautiful selves again. I share Craig's masterpiece with everyone and anyone who will listen, visit and donate. I've worked in rescue organizations all over the country, and The Wild Animal Sanctuary is by far the most conducive to bringing these animals truly home.

I have been a supporter of the American Battlefield Trust for many years and strongly believe in their mission and their organization. I am an avid history buff who has been trying to learn about the Civil War and the Trust's educational materials are very helpful. I have found, however, that the best way to truly understand and appreciate any battle is to actually walk the battlefield itself. Nothing can replace the experience of walking in the footsteps of those who fought (and died) on the battlefield. Unfortunately, these sites are under constant threat of development, most recently from huge date centers and once these hallowed grounds are lost they are lost forever. The work that the American Battlefield Trust has done to preserve and restore these sites is nothing short of amazing. I have attended battlefield tours with their staff who are dedicated, extremely knowledgeable and eager to share their knowledge with others. I totally trust this organization.

MUD brings to my community what no other can. The expertise and professionalism which is available through MUD is incomparable to any other.

I found a baby house sparrow on the ground and returned it to its nest. It fell out again so I called multiple places to see where I could take it. The nearest place to me wouldn’t take a house sparrow. Thankfully I called Fellow Mortals. Even though it was a Sunday, I got a call back in less than an hour. They helped me by trying to locate a different place closer to take it since they were 1 1/2 hours away from me. They ended up being the closest so I took it there. The lady that helped me when I arrived was so sweet and knowledgeable. I hope this sweet baby makes it and I know for sure it’ll get the best care! Thank you so much Fellow Mortals!!

Not impressed with their concern about donors' privacy. I donated to this cause for a couple of years. I always said I wanted my donation (like all my charitable donations) to be confidential -- to not list me as a donor outside the org. <br>Then I received an email 3 years ago "confirming the spelling of my name to be listed as a donor in their biennial report." <br>(They were guessing the spelling of my name based on the email address I'd used, which generated a weird last name spelling. If I'd given them my full true name, perhaps they wouldn't have asked me -- just published my name???) <br>All my charitable donations, I always ask to keep my name private. In the 40 years I've been making charitable donations anonymously, this has only happened a total of 3 times, and the other 2 times were the previous millennium. When I politely pointed out I wanted to be anonymous, the Grist person who contacted me didn't seem all that concerned about the possible disclosure. He said, "these mistakes happen time to time."

I love what they stand for such as: fighting against climate change, animal rights.

Has helped me immensely to understand problems with our laws in regards to climate change and environmental policies and gives me non-offerwhelming ways of helping.

Do they seemingly use funds appropriately, sure. Do they have predatory fundraising tactics that target specific individuals, use mail/email bombing, and convey the message that responsibility for park conversation is on the individual and not higher instistuions, absolutely! They are an overwhelming white organization that has never once recognized public lands as stolen lands. The indigenous narrative is never involved in the NPCA. They never consider environmental justice a crucial intersection that plays a major role in conserving public lands. Also, they sell your data and share it with whomever they please. <br><br>This organization may be one of the oldest and most well funded but they are antiquated and not far off a scam. Give your money to someone else who actually believes in progress and not just getting as much money from gullible Americans as possible. <br>

Through field visits and workshops with local cooperatives, I witnessed how genuine development is driven by community resilience, sustainable agriculture, and women’s economic empowerment. Professionally, this experience shaped my career identity, sharpened my skills, and connected me to a vast national and international network. Having started as an intern learning field dynamics, I have now transitioned into a facilitator delivering capacity-building workshops. Show Mercy and the people of Uganda never fails to leave an impact on your heart. This is my second time in Uganda with Show Mercy, and I always feel like I leave with my cup more full than when I came. The people of Uganda and the staff are so full of joy, compassion, and fire for Jesus. The staff led us so well. They pushed us to step out of our comfort zones, and were there to be guides through every outreach. I am so so so thankful for every opportunity I have had to be able to serve here, and I can’t wait for the next trip!

We visited Global Links as part of research for our entrepreneurship project at University of Pittsburgh, and received a very warm welcome, detailed introduction and gracious help from staff members such as Angela and Connor! The medical devices that they have loaned us will surely facilitate our research and our endeavor to develop a low-cost medical device targeting the low resource areas. We are planning to contact them in the near future about figuring out the specific needs for our potential customers, distribution channels and such.<br><br>More importantly, this visit is a transformational experience for us! Witnessing the volunteers working in the warehouse full of organized surplus medical supplies and talking to Angela and Connor about the organization's operation, needs and social impact, I was deeply touched by Global Links' noble cause and a hug cannot even express my most sincere gratitude towards these guys. We thank them for all their great work and devotion! I wish I could have brought the whole team to get to know Global Links onsite (the other two members had other engagements that day), since we are all enthusiastic and inspired entrepreneurs who wish to develop something useful for the greater good. We are more than happy to write reviews for the nebulizers and oxygen concentrators that they have loaned us to research on as the least we can do to pay back and start helping out.<br><br>We will use our social media presence to spread the word for Global Links. Not sure when I joined this valuable organization, probably a few years ago when I saw a Snow Leopard for the first time...I'm a cat lover at heart but this cat, to me was the most beautiful big cat I'd ever seen. White with dark markings for excellent camouflage in its terrain, and that tail! Longest, most tubular tail I'd ever seen, needed for balancing. Love this organization and the excellent news articles and up to date data about protecting these fantastic big cats!

EESI is an outstanding organization, committed to thorough research and communication with lawmakers. I had the opportunity to intern with them a few years ago, and it was a fantastic opportunity. Not only did I get first hand experience with a on the Hill, but I was given several different responsibilities that made me feel like I was making a difference. The internship program is uniquely designed to give students real experience and control over their work. Additionally, the staff is clearly dedicated to the organizations mission, and it shows in their work. The staff members produce timely and reliable pieces, as they look to share a bipartisan, environmental message with as many stakeholders as possible. I am thankful for my time at EESI, and even more grateful for all the work they are doing for our planet.

Ceres has been a valuable partner to companies and investors alike as they have sought to build lasting value by embracing sustainable business practices. Despite changing policy environments, Ceres continues to help businesses navigate environmental and social sustainability with a rigorous fact base and economic case making. Their teams also partner with other organizations that connect to communities directly to ensure sustainability works from the Board room to the neighborhood. I value how I can bring my knowledge and experience to help strengthen their work, alongside my financial support.

Farmer Engagement & Capacity Building at Sondardi Village: We had a productive interaction with 40 farmers from Sondardi, focusing on collective learning and practical solutions for sustainable agriculture. Conducted a group discussion on Farmer-Producer Organisation and its roles, benefits, and activities. Performed soil testing using a rapid test kit for one farmer, covering 5 essential soil nutrients. Three coconut farmers were advised on whitefly pest management using a 15-litre \Pump to spray shampoo, washing powder, and cow urine. 25 farmers received Dashparni Ark and Agni Astra (1 litre each) for demonstration purposes through the Natural Input Centre. 35 farmers visited the Input Centre to understand the preparation and use of natural inputs. Discussed biochar demonstration, with plans to set up a live demo at a farmer’s field very soon. Such initiatives strengthen farmers’ knowledge, encourage sustainable practices, and move us closer o resilient and eco-friendly agriculture.

Friends of Saguaro National Park (FOSNP) has been providing support to Saguaro National Park since 1996 when it was the Saguaro National Monument. Since 1998 my wife and I have admired and supported the work of FOSNP. FOSNP’s community outreach, educational programs and especially the Next Generation Ranger Program are outstanding and have profoundly improved the experience of park visitors. The NextGen program in particular has provided opportunities for young students to work in the U.S. National Park Service locally and explore career opportunities with federal land management agencies nationwide. Park staff and volunteers have benefitted from the support provided, which has made their work more productive and enjoyable. My wife and I live a short distance from Saguaro National Park East, and we love hiking in and experiencing the wonders of the Park, a national treasure made even better by the work of FOSNP.

Volunteering with Save the Whales has been a rewarding and eye-opening experience. A highlight of my service was guiding students through “Dee the Whale,” the near life-size inflatable whale. Many had never been to the beach before, so stepping inside Dee the Whale made ocean conservation feel real and memorable. Seeing their faces light up reminded me how powerful hands-on education can be. Beyond the Dee presentations, I’ve helped with watershed demonstrations, community cleanups, gardening events, and school presentations. These activities bring conservation directly into underserved communities and give students opportunities they might not otherwise have. It’s inspiring to see how quickly they connect once they can interact with the material. Save the Whales offers meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. I’m grateful to be part of their mission and look forward to continuing my work as they inspire the next generation of ocean stewards.

I went to see the Amazon rainforest in June of 2018. I had wanted to go there since I was 13 years old. I wanted to see how human beings could live being sustained by forest, how everything they needed was provided by a forest. I went and returned angry that other developed people wanted to take what they wanted from this forest for their own needs, not having had any relationship with the indigenous people, the animals, plants and insects that thrived there, they wanted to just go in and extract what they wanted to produce more of what we don’t need and destroy a whole culture of people we know little about. I have been a partner of Pachamama Alliance non profit organisation since my incredible journey into the forest and those tribes we were given hospitality by. I could not be happier with the people of the Pachamama Alliance to these indigenous peoples for their sensitive help and care. Pachamama have made me feel part of how they are helping. My support for Buffalo Field Campaign began more than 12 years ago after a trip to Yellowstone in a very cold winter. It was a memorable experience to see close up the bison dealing with cold, storms and scarcity of food. The survival of these iconic animals is wonderful. <br><br>Buffalo Field Campaign champions not only the wild buffalo but the people and communities that surround Yellowstone. The primary strength of Buffalo Field Campagin is a true grassroots organization that has won support from people throughout the US but is definitely grounded in the region it serves. This recognition of the intricate and vital relationship between people, wildlife and place is the other source of strength of Buffalo Field Campaign. Together, this means that all funding goes to the charitable purpose of the organization, and the individual participants and supporters get to feel a direct link with Buffalo Field Campaign, the people who run it and the animals it serves.

Chewonki is an exemplar in my experience of non-profits. Mission-driven, thoughtfully guided, and ethically minded, at turns I've been a staff member, trustee, and advisor over 30+ years. Even though my first Chewonki experience was decades ago, I still hold Chewonki up as the place that does community best, that builds connections, and that challenges me to do my best work, whether as a volunteer or supporter.<br><br>From the programs it runs for young children to its flagship Maine Coast Semester, which continues to break ground as the premier place-based semester program among a crowded field, Chewonki changes lives. It certainly changed mine!

We had my son’s 6th birthday party hosted here and had a wonderful experience! Teachers Juno and Emma did a such great job making it fun and interactive but also educational. All kids and parents enjoyed a lot

This was my first trip to Nicaragua, and thanks to the El Porvenir team, hopefully not my last! These folks are so dedicated to bringing better sanitation and clean water to areas in need, but also to sharing the many things to love about Nicaragua. Our entire team felt so privileged to work alongside them building the latrines. We also felt very humbled by the way the beautiful people of La Eperanza showed their appreciation and fellowship. A very special thanks to Enrique, Marcos and Jose for their guidance, camaraderie, wisdom/knowledge and good humor! Many thanks to El Porvenir for this amazing experience!

I am a chronic kidney patient and I with my husband did a blunder mistake by coming to Isha foundation for the inner engineering program, Coimbatore as suggested by their people on the phone. They convinced me to attend the program by giving me wrong information on the availability of my food there and told me that 40 people will b around me to look after my restricted renal diet.There was no provision of my food and because of that my health deteorated. And on the last day of the program they just throw us out from Isha foundation without even serving the breakfast and not letting my husband atleast to complete the program as they got scared of my health(Just BP got high in mrng but after taking my medications as usual, Bp came down to 135/90). They were forcing us to go to hospital via ambulance to city, though it was not an emergency. They have a set protocol which they are following blindfolded and do not listen to what the other has to say. If they got scared with my health issues then why the Isha people convinced me to come and attend the program. I had mentioned about all my health issues on phone before registering. How can they assure me for doing this thing? Money minded people....They should actually refund me the last day fees of the program as we had to book a hotel to stay that day in city and such a torture we faced on that day. Because of all this unplanned travelling I had a severe headache. I suggest nobody should come here with such medical ailment (Hypertension & kidney disorder). I am suffering a lot after this . All my kidney values have increased now which before coming to Isha was decreasing and getting better.....<br>They should not play with anyone's life... ..... Anshita Gupta from DELHI
